Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

1. Acceptance

This agreement is between Blocking In ("Blocking In", "we", "us") and any person accessing or using blockingin.com ("you"). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the site. We may modify these terms at any time by posting changes on this page; changes take effect on posting, and continued use constitutes acceptance.

2. What the site is for

Blocking In is provided as an educational and reference tool for studying value design and color block-in. The studies, stencils, and PDFs it produces are intended for personal, non-commercial, educational use. You are free to print and paint from your own studies.

3. Your uploads

You are responsible for the images you upload and confirm you have the right to use them. A downscaled copy is sent to our server only to compute the color block-in, processed in memory, and not stored (see the Privacy page). Do not upload unlawful content or content that infringes the rights of others.

4. Artwork images

Master paintings shown on this site are reproductions of works believed to be in the public domain (sourced from WikiArt's public-domain collection), or used under applicable fair-use provisions for educational and analytical purposes. We do not claim ownership of any underlying artwork. If you believe content infringes your rights, contact us at hello@blockingin.com and we will address it promptly.

5. Use of content

Site content, including the analysis, text, and design, is protected by intellectual property laws. You may view, print, and download your own studies for personal, non-commercial use. You may not systematically scrape or re-publish the corpus or datasets to other services without prior written permission.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

Use of this site is at your sole risk. It is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We make no representations regarding accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose, and we do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Blocking In shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site or its content.

8. Changes and termination

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the site at any time without notice. We may restrict access for conduct that violates these terms or is harmful to others.
